Joseph Archie Lester

Mr. Joseph Archie Lester, Sr., 77, passed away Sunday, September 22, 2018, at the VA Hospital in Onondaga County, New York.

Born July 23, 1941, in High Point, North Carolina, Joseph was the son of the late David Lester and Elsie Day.  Joseph was an Army Airborne Recruit and had a career in upholstery.  Joseph is survived by two sons, Joe Lester and Robert Lester; brother Paul Lester; and Grandchildren, Joseph Lester III and Clayton Lester.

Joseph will be laid to rest in the church cemetery at Liberty Baptist Church in Thomasville, North Carolina.
