Joseph Roy Herron

Joseph Roy Herron, 81, of Kernersville, passed away Sunday, February 9, 2025, at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center.

Born April 24, 1943, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, he was a son of the late Joseph Herron and the late Tera Barbee Herron. Mr. Herron was a US Marine veteran and a retired store manager with sixty years of service.

He is survived by his wife, Bonnie Horton Herron of the home; son, Chad Smith and wife Nicole of Clemmons; daughter, Lisa Rogers and husband of David of Kernersville; brother, Donald Herron and wife Gerianne of Ohio; grandchildren, Madison Moore, Gus Smith and Alex Smith.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Dennis Herron.
