Jonathan Maurice ("Pop") Hill

Jonathan Maurice Hill was born August 19, 1966 to mother, Josephine Steele and father, John Hill.  He passed away on Friday, October 1, 2021 in his hometown of High Point, North Carolina.  He leaves behind his two beautiful daughters, Amelia Crawford and Jocelyn Hill, whose mother, Catrice Ingram, also passed away November 6, 2019; he also leaves his two grandsons, Janirey Crawford and Jamel McClendon; one brother, John Hill; and his best friend, Gary McIntyre.  He had one sister, Jocelyn Hill, who passed away May 1, 2001, leaving behind her two children Chermise and Dexter Middlebrooks.

Jonathan was a hardworking man that LOVED his kids.  He was a person that would help anybody.  The friends and family he left behind celebrate the home-going of Jonathan Hill, aka, “POP”.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00PM, Saturday, October 16, 2021 at Solid Rock Baptist Church at 903 E. Kearns Ave, High Point, with Pastor Martin officiating.  Family will receive visitors prior to the funeral from 11:00AM - 12:00PM at Solid Rock Baptist Church.
