Johnny Larry Wilcox, 73, of High Point, passed away Sunday, January 15, 2017 at High Point Regional Hospital.

Born October 10, 1943 in Brunswick County, GA, he was a son of the late Henry Lee Wilcox and the late Lillian Bell Dunlap Wilcox. In early years, Mr. Wilcox was a credit manager for Red House and Dallas furniture, but later retired as a truck driver with thirty years of service.  He enjoyed meeting people, mall walking and his morning breakfast outings.

Mr. Wilcox is survived by his wife of fifty-one years, Judy Lawrence Wilcox of the home; children, Karen Mabe and husband Marty of High Point, Cindy Noble of Charlotte, Eddie Williams and wife Kim Barrera of Ohio, and Terry Williams; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his twin brother, Jackie Wilcox; sisters, Mary Frances Ramsey and Barbara Jean.

Memorial services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Thursday, January 19, 2017 in the Gathering Room of Wright Cremation & Funeral Service.

The family will receive friends following the service.
