John Douglas Tilley

John Douglas Tilley, 84, of High Point, NC, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 9, 2024.

Born July 2, 1939, in High Point, Mr. Tilley was the son of Carey Columbus Tilley and Evelyn Morris Tilley. Preceding him in death, were his parents and his loving wife of 56 years, Ann Marie Rich Tilley.

He is survived by two sons, Timothy Roman Tilley (Kelli) of High Point, and Tyler  Douglas Tilley of Lexington; sister-in-law, Debra Hill ( Calvin) of Thomasville; niece, Shauna Thomas (Shawn); great nieces, Mackenzie Thomas and Brennan Thomas; and a great nephew, Connor Thomas of Trinity. He proudly served his country with honor in the United States Army.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, January 16, 2024, in the mausoleum chapel of Floral Garden Park Cemetery with Reverend Dr. Jeff Patterson officiating.

The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
