John David Murphy
John David Murphy, 93, of High Point, passed away Monday, February 20, 2023, at his home.
Born September 23, 1929, in Spartanburg, South Carolina, he was the son of the late Walter Murphy and the late Eunice Gates Murphy. John worked in inspection and safety for insurance companies and was a member of Oakview Baptist Church.
He is survived by sons, David Johns Murphy (Kathy) of Thomasville and Robert Dale Murphy (Kelly) of Philadelphia, PA; five grandchildren; and one great grandchild.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of seventy three years, Betty Johns Murphy.
