John Clifford Morton

John Clifford Morton, 73, of Greensboro, passed away Wednesday, September 27, 2023, at his home.

Born March 5, 1950, in Guilford County, he was a son of the late Clifford Osborne Morton and the late Edna Lee McKinnon Morton. John was a former Pastor, a graduate of High Point University and Tennessee Temple Seminary. He retired from Furnitureland South and was a member of Life Community Church.

John is survived by his wife, Toni Morton of the home; sons, Jason Morton, Jarrod Morton and wife Cara; stepdaughters, Leigh Lancaster and husband Brady, and Whitney Johnson; brother, Steve Morton and wife Cheryl; sisters, Jan Stines and husband Frank, and Beth Halett; grandchildren, Lilly Morton, Mac Morton, Ben Morton, Wills Morton, Lucy Morton, Asher Lancaster, Mason Lancaster, and Matthew Corder.

Memorial services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Friday, October 6, 2023, at Life Community Church, 4900 W. Wendover Ave, Jamestown, NC  27282.

The family will visit with friends at 1:30 PM at the church.
