John Walter Clancy, 74, of Danville, VA, passed away Tuesday, March 20, 2018, at Hospice Home at High Point.

Born February 12, 1944, in New York City, NY, he was a son of the late Peter Joseph Clancy Sr. and the late Neoma Bower Clancy. Mr. Clancy was a retired lab technician for General Foods.

He is survived by his son, Scott Clancy of San Francisco, CA; daughter, Jessica Barker of High Point; brothers, James Clancy and wife Constance, Robert Clancy and wife Mary Jo, and William Clancy; sister, Eileen Lussier and husband Andre; two grandchildren, Eli Barker and Patrick Barker.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Peter Clancy and Thomas Clancy.
