Joann Norris Angel, 84, of Westchester Dr., went to be with Jesus Monday, October 3, 2016 at Hospice Home at High Point.

Born April 17, 1932 in Chattanooga, TN, she was a daughter of the late Oscar Roy Norris and the late Jewel Booth Norris. Mrs. Angel was a retired bookkeeper, attended Green Street Baptist Church and was the last of six children.

She is survived by her sons, Steve Angel and wife Beth of Concord, Tim Angel of ND, Jack Grogan and wife Suzan of Thomasville and Joel Angel and wife Robin of High Point; grandchildren, Sarah W. and husband Josh, Micah, Aaron, Sarah N., Kristin, Hannah, Corrie, Yusef, Noor and Mercy; great-grandchildren, Audrey, Eden, and Cecily.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Thursday, October 6, 2016 in Green Street Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Holly Hill Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends, from 10:00 AM until 10:45 AM prior to the service at the church.
