Joan Wood Hedrick, 75, of High Point, passed away Saturday, December 8, 2018, at Hospice Home at High Point.

Born September 12, 1943, in Guilford County, she was a daughter of the late Herbert Allen Wood and the late Mary Nance Wood. Ms. Hedrick retired from RF Micro and was a member of Christ United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her son, Brad Hedrick (Corrin Lohrmann House) of High Point; daughter, Tammy Ring (Brent) of Thomasville; brother, Don Wood (Sarah) of Mocksville; sister, Mary Jane Cunningham (Mark) of Houston, Texas; and five grandchildren, Brittany, Matthew, Josh, Dylan, and Zane.

Memorial services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Wednesday, December 12, 2018, at Christ United Methodist Church with Rev. Keith Sexton officiating. Inurnment will be at Oakwood Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends following the service.
