Greathel “Jo” Wright Cleveland, 88, of High Point, passed away Monday, August 20, 2018, at Hospice Home at High Point.

Born March 2, 1930, in Bristol, VA, she was a daughter of the late George Wright and the late Mary Shelton Wright Brown. Mrs. Cleveland was a homemaker and attended Hope Baptist Church in Sophia.

She is survived by her daughters, Sylvia McNeil and husband Dennis of High Point, and Dolores Hagans and husband Jimmy of Trinity; grandchildren, Christine, Leah, Hannah, and Emily; great-grandchildren, Emma, Rachel, Katie, and Tommy.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Warren “Cleve” Howard Cleveland.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Thursday, August 23, 2018, in the Gathering Room of Wright Cremation & Funeral Service with Rev. Steve McSwain officiating. Burial will follow in Floral Garden Park Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until 1:45 PM prior to the service at the funeral home.
