Jimmy Raymond Pope, Jr, 65, of High Point, passed away Wednesday, December 9, 2020, at his home.
Born December 9, 1955, in Guilford County, he was a son of the Jimmy Raymond Pope, Sr. (Frances) of Randleman and the late Billie JoAnne Craven Pope. Jimmy worked as a switcher at Shelba Johnson Trucking Company, and was a member of Lexington Avenue Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Bernadene Pope of the home; daughters, Cheri Canada of Winston Salem, Kelly Cooke (Shane) of High Point, and Robin Wickham (Joshua) of High Point; grandchildren, Drue Canada (Chandi), Chloe Canada, Jordan Cooke, Jackson Cooke, Bailey Cooke, Brayden Wickham, and Brody Wickham; great-grandchild, Everly Canada; sister-in-law, Katherine Pope; nieces, Renee Pope, and Melissa Pope; and nephews Billy Joe Pope Jr., and Christopher Pope.
In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by a brother, Billy Joe Pope, Sr.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
