Jimmy Adonis Dailey, 83, of Trinity, passed away Wednesday, December 27, 2017, at Graybrier Nursing Home.

Born March 30, 1934, in Guilford County, he was a son of the late Dorsey A. Dailey and the late Lora Kivett Dailey. Mr. Dailey was a US Navy veteran, a retired framer with Claude Gable Furniture Company, and a member of Green Street Baptist Church.

He is survived by his son, Larry Dailey and wife Janet of Archdale; sister, Brenda Forrest of Galax, VA; two grandsons, Mark M. Dailey and wife Jessica of Huntersville and Steven W. Dailey and wife Ashley of Greensboro; great-grandchildren, Lillian Dailey, Savannah Dailey, Bryson Dailey, Cayden Dailey, and Austin McGee.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Burroughs Dailey, June 27, 2016.

Services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Tuesday, January 2, 2018, in the Mausoleum Chapel of Floral Garden Park.

The family will receive friends following the service.
