Jim Grant Gouge

Jim Gouge, beloved husband, father and grandfather passed away peacefully on January 14th, 2025, after a long courageous battle with surgery complications . My husband was the strongest man I’ve ever met. He was my soulmate, my hero and protector. He treasured his children and grandchildren and embraced every moment with them. He especially loved his role as Pop and Poppy. Jim had a contagious personality and always made people around him laugh. He made friends everywhere he went. We first met in registration line while attending Tennessee Temple University. He turned around in line and as I looked into his icy blue eyes, there was an instant connection. This was the beginning of a life filled with many adventures. Throughout his long-established tenure of over thirty years in the printing industry and with International Minute Press, Jim has been nationally recognized for his marketing efforts and overall performance. It was always important to Jim to always treat his customers and others as he would like to be treated. He was a man of integrity and attributed his Christian faith in God for his success in life and his love for his wife Jeannie of forty seven years. His legacy of faith, love, and laughter have influenced the lives of many people He would want everyone to know that the gospel of Jesus Christ is true and that families are forever. He is the icing on my cupcake the hot fudge to my sundae the bacon with my eggs the peanut butter to my jelly the LOVE of my life & the cherry on top. We love him and will miss him dearly. He is survived by his wife, Jeannie White Gouge; son, Jimmy Gouge of Clearwater, FL; daughter, Jennifer G. Wall and husband Jeremy of Asheboro; 3 grandchildren, Thaddeus Sanders, Nova Sanders and Savannah Wall; brothers, David Gouge and Paul Gouge and wife Lori.
