Jilda Lewis Smith

Jilda Lewis Smith, 75, of Kernersville, passed away Wednesday, August 4, 2021, at her home.

Born September 2, 1945, in Surry County, she was a daughter Dellie Inman Lewis of Kernersville and the late Bill Dent Lewis. Jilda retired from the YWCA and was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her son, David Smith and wife Tracy of Winston-Salem, daughter, Sally Hewitt and husband Thomas of Winston-Salem, grandchildren, Michael Hilton and wife Katie, Holden Smith and wife Madison, and Courtney Smith, great-grandchildren, Lane Smith, Grayson Hendrix, Norah Hilton, and Jamison.
