Jessie Collison Underwood, 75, of Archdale, passed away Sunday, April 16, 2017, at his home.
Born January 20, 1942, in Rockingham County, he was a son of the late Homer Branscone Underwood and the late Evelyn Tyner Underwood. Mr. Underwood was a retired welder.
He is survived by his longtime companion, Joan Brown of the home; son, Bobby Glenn Underwood of Graham; daughters, Sandra Southard-Bottoms and husband, Jeffery of Pinnacle, and Wendy Elizabeth Smith of Archdale; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Memorial services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Saturday, April 22, 2017, in the Gathering Room of Wright Cremation & Funeral Service with Rev. Bob Summers officiating.
The family will receive friends following the service.
