Jessie Bagley Greene, 92, of High Point, formerly of Delaware, passed away Wednesday, October 17, 2018, at Hospice Home at High Point.

Born August 31, 1926, in Duluth, Minnesota, she was a daughter of the late Kilmer Smith Bagley and the late Antoinette Fee Bagley. Mrs. Greene graduated from Duluth Junior College and went on to Professional Institute of the College of William and Mary in Richmond, Virginia. She was a member of the Junior League of Wilmington, Delaware, the D.A.R. and St. Paul’s Methodist Church. Mrs. Greene was involved with volunteering through the Wilmington Flower Market, Ronald McDonald House, and Mary Campbell Center, as well as the Boys Club of Wilmington. She worked with arts and crafts at the Boys Club for seventeen years and went on to be the director of the Clarence Fraim Senior Center for ten years before retiring in 1990.

Mrs. Greene is survived by her children, Susan Delaney and husband Bill of Las Vegas, Nevada, David Greene and wife Linda of High Point, North Carolina, and Priscilla Greene of Jacksonville, Florida; sister, Sally Chabot of Denver, Colorado; brother Kilmer Bagley of Duluth, Minnesota; grandchildren, Erik Van Wart and wife Christy, Ryan Van Wart, Matthew Greene and wife Christine, Julie Perry and husband Ryan, and Amy Mackey; and four great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Quigley Greene following sixty years of marriage.

Services will be private.
