Jessiah Gamariea Gaines, 8, of High Point, passed away Sunday, January 7, 2024, at his home.

Born November 23, 2015, in High Point, to Marty Govan and Genashia C. Gaines.

Jessiah enjoyed playing video games and watching YouTube videos. He really enjoyed reading and learning at his school, the Triangle Lake Montessori School.

Left to cherish his memory; his parents, Marty Govan and Genashia Gaines; sisters, Keziah Govan and Mulia Govan; maternal grandparents, Garry and Keshia Gaines; paternal grandmother, Wanda Govan; uncles, Quavvieus Gaines and Jaquae’ Gaines; aunts, Quaneshia White and Garreshia Gaines; and a host of cousins.

Memorial Service will be conducted at 5:00 PM Saturday, January 20, 2024, in the Wright Funerals-Cremations Chapel; 1720 Westchester Drive, High Point.

The family will receive friends following the service.
