Frank Jerry West, 79, of Barrett Dr., Archdale, passed away Monday, May 16, 2016 at High Point Regional Hospital.

Born October 5, 1936 in Wyoming County, WV, he was a son of the late Herbert West and the late Tressie Browning West. Mr. West was a US Army veteran and a retired machinist with K&C Machinery. He attended Thomasville Church of God.

He is survived by his wife of fifty-three years, Nora Johnson West of the home; son, Kevin Browning and wife Tamara of GA; daughters, Debra West and husband Michael Keegan of MA, Marsha Roddenberry and husband Myron of Thomasville and Angela West of Italy; sisters, Jewel Poole and husband Richard of Glenola and Helen Brown of Thomasville; grandchildren, Amelia Roddenberry, Landon Roddenberry, Nolan Keegan, Sean Keegan, Lenora Browning and Matthew Browning.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Thursday, May 19, 2016 in Archdale Assembly of God with Rev. Billy Myers officiating. Interment will follow in Guilford Memorial Park with military honors provided by the Randolph County Honor Guard.

The family will receive friends from 12:30 PM until 1:45 PM Thursday prior to the service at the church.
