Jerry Wayne Orr

Jerry Wayne Orr, 75, of Winston-Salem, passed away Friday, December 17, 2021, at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice House.

Born June 28, 1946, in Guilford County, he was a son of the late James Dalton Orr, Sr. and the late Effie Osborne Orr.

He is survived by his stepson, Duane Whitley; stepdaughter, Kristie Gillard; brothers, James D. Orr, Jr., and Kenneth P. Orr; and sister, Sara Pickett.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Ann Disher Orr in 1990 and a sister, Judy Phipps.

A celebration of life will be at a later date.
