Jerry Roger Griffey

Jerry “Roger” Griffey, 49, of Thomasville, NC passed away on 8/28/2019 in Thomasville, NC.

Roger was born in Guilford county, NC to Jerry R. Griffey and Billie L. Griffey on 8/8/1970.  He went to school at Randleman High, and graduated in 1988. He worked as a truck driver for Merita for a number of years. He was an avid baseball fan and he loved the New York Yankees.

Roger is preceded in death by his father Jerry R. Griffey and mother Billie L. Griffey.

Roger is survived by his step-mom Delores Griffey, step-brother Danny Smith, step-sister Tammy Mabe, aunt Linda Dills husband Matt, aunt Vicki Reinhardt, and several cousins.

A celebration of life is being planned at a later date.
