Jean Harrison Davis, 91, of Shuler Circle, passed away Friday, August 5, 2016 at Hospice Home at High Point.

Born May 15, 1925 in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania, she was a daughter of the late William Harrison and the late Lucille Nichols Harrison. She was a retired prop director at Alderman Co. with twenty-seven years of service and volunteered at the Roy B. Culler Senior Center. Mrs. Davis loved her Abbotts Creek Community as well as her new found friends at Piedmont Crossing. On September 15, 1946 she married Lee Wilson Davis who predeceased her on November 17, 2002.

She is survived by her daughter, Linda Smith and husband Thomas of Georgia; son, Charles Davis and wife Vicki of High Point; sisters, Barbara Logan and Patricia Curry both of Florida; grandchildren, Zachary Smith and wife Jennifer, Claire Parker and husband Jason and Amanda Baker and husband Kelly; great-grandchildren, Sullivan Smith, Anna Louise Smith and Annie Marie Parker.

Memorial services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Monday, August 8, 2016 in Emerywood Baptist Church with Dr. Robert Ferguson, Rev. Roy Cantrell and Rev. Meg Lacy officiating. Burial will be private in Abbotts Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends following the service at the church.
