Jean Saunders Crump

Jean Saunders Crump, 96, of High Point, passed away Saturday, March 23, 2025, at her home with her family by her side.

Born October 12, 1928, in High Point, NC, she was a daughter of the late Herman Saunders and the late Margie Narcissus Saunders. Mrs. Crump was a member of Green Street Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband Cicero Crump; brothers, Darrell Saunders, Eddie Saunders, and Sammy Saunders; sisters, Margaret Myrick, Betsy May and Elna Hall Hester; and her son-in-law, Harry Anderson.

She is survived by; sons, Larry Crump and wife Karen of Matthews, and Jeffrey Crump and wife Meg of High Point; daughters, Bonnie Meredith and husband Mickey of Hillsville, VA, Judy Anderson of Kernersville, and Delores Reese and husband Bill of Statesville; grandchildren, Tanya Knurenko (Art), Catherine Crump, Travis Johnson, Alisha Boatright (Chapman), Bonnie Rose Crump, Brandon Meredith (Debi), Crystal Moore, Brenda Eads (Tony), Pastor Wayne Anderson (Enjonae), and Emily Smith (Mike); great- grandchildren, Cooper, Douglas, Tyler, Brigit, Anthony, Tim, Wade, Abbie, John, Mikey, and Carmen; and great great-grandchildren, Armstead, Oliver, Jane, Parker, Emma, Nevaeh, Bentley, and Lucas.

Funeral Service will be 11:00AM Friday, March 28, 2025, in the Wright Funerals-Cremations, High Point Chapel, with her grandson, Pastor Wayne Anderson officiating.

Burial will follow in the Floral Garden Memorial Park Cemetery.

The family will receive friends 10:00-10:45AM, prior to the service.
