Jasper Claudius Hair, 82, of Michaux Rd., passed away Tuesday, August 2, 2016 at Spring Arbor of Greensboro.

Born January 29, 1934 in Robeson County, he was a son of the late Jasper John Hair and the late Leola Bullard Hair. Mr. Hair was a US Army veteran and a retired truck driver with ABF.

He is survived by his son Randy Hair and wife Beatrice of Salisbury; daughter, Kim Cumbee and husband Mark of High Point; sister, Lib Stroud and husband Joe of Garner; granddaughter, Madison Kisgen and husband Chris of Raleigh and a great-granddaughter, Brynn Kisgen.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Sylvia Mussellwhite Hair in 1996.

Memorial services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Saturday, August 6, 2016 at Green Street Baptist Church with Chaplain Judy Haughee-Barlett officiating.

The family will receive friends following the service.
