Jason Lynn Spencer

Jason Lynn Spencer, 39, of High Point, went to be with the Lord Wednesday, December 20, 2023, at his home.

Born July 13, 1984, in Guilford County, he was the son of Tim Spencer (Donna) of Hillsborough and Laurie Miller (David) of High Point.  Jason is a former employee of Future Foam.

Jason was a kind and compassionate soul who had a great sense of humor. He was thoughtful and giving towards others and loved his family fiercely; his daughter Anna was his world. Growing up, Jason enjoyed playing sports, collecting ball cards and loved music. His love of movies and collecting led to his collection of DVDs; he loved the "Harry Potter" series and had hoped to visit Universal one day to see the "Harry Potter" attractions.

In the last three years, chronic health issues kept him from being able to spend time with his daughter that he would've liked, but the moments he got to spend with her meant the world to him; the two enjoyed watching movies, sports and making TikTok videos together. This past spring, Jason enjoyed watching Anna play volleyball for the first time; she did very well and he was very proud of her.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by a daughter, Anna Spencer of Archdale; sisters, Elizabeth Lynch (Bryan) of Kernersville, and Ashley Spencer of High Point; nephews, Carter Lynch, Cameron Lynch, Aidan Spencer; nieces, Catelyn Lynch, Arianna Adair, and Aubrey Adair; and a host of aunts and uncles.

Memorial service will be conducted 2:00 PM Saturday, January 6, 2024, in the High Point chapel of Wright Funerals-Cremations with David Robertson officiating.

The family will visit with friends from 1:00 PM until 1:45 PM prior to the service.
