Janie Marie (Whelan) Wilson

Janie Marie Whelan Wilson, 39, of Thomasville, passed away Thursday, December 30, 2021, at Presbyterian Hospital in Charlotte.

Born June 16, 1982, in Iowa City, Iowa, she was a daughter of Karin Ann Kieffer and the late Mark Edward Whelan.  Janie was a restaurant manager.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband, Justin Wilson of the home; son, Reagan Wilson of the home; stepsons, Aiden Wilson and Logan Wilson both of Virginia; brothers, Ben Whelan (Aubrie) of Oklahoma, Clayton Whelan (Hannah) of Arkansas, and Kelly Burgess of Oklahoma; sisters, Shelly Sandahl (Justin) of Iowa and Sylvia Burgess of Oklahoma; and stepmother Paulette Whelan of Oklahoma.

A small Celebration of Life Gathering will be held at the Wilson home, 1110 Ferndale Drive, Thomasville, NC  27360, at 2:00 PM Monday, January 3, 2022.
