Emma Jane Hinkle entered the Kingdom of Heaven Thursday, December 15, 2022, at a blessed 93 years old.
She is survived by her sister, Marilyn Kearns of High Point; daughter, Joy H. Turner of Sophia; son, Scott Lee Hinkle and wife Amy of Lexington; six amazing grandchildren; and three precious great-grandchildren.
Born February 23, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Russell Knox and Pearl Elizabeth Hoke of High Point.
She was a treasured mother, wife, homemaker, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Together with her late husband Douglas Lee Hinkle of almost fifty years until his death in 1994, they created the family business “United Wood Turning”. The name adopted from the pledge of being united as one, united with Jane, united with Christ.
She was later blessed with an additional family when she married Stamey Eugene Davis until his death in 2007.
She was a classy lady that prioritized her faith, cherished her family and was always selflessly giving.
She will be deeply missed and forever loved.
