James Bryan VonCannon

James Bryan VonCannon, 85, of High Point, passed away Sunday, July 23, 2017, at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center.

Born February 10, 1932, in Guilford County, he was a son of the late Edgar Allen VonCannon and the late Florence Hicks VonCannon. Mr. VonCannon graduated from Jamestown High School and served in the US Navy. He was a retired supervisor with E.R. Carpenter and a security guard at Market Square.

He is survived by his wife Mary Emma Brady VonCannon of the home; son, Bryan VonCannon and wife Connie of Winston-Salem; brother, Tommy VonCannon and wife Georgia of High Point; grandchildren, Zachary James VonCannon and wife Melissa, Ashley VonCannon Ballard and husband Chris, and Jessica Elizabeth VonCannon.

Services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Saturday, July 29, 2017, at Hilliard Memorial Baptist Church with military honors provided by the Randolph County Honor Guard.

The family will receive friends following the service.
