James Monroe Taylor

James Monroe Taylor, 73, of High Point, passed away Monday, August 31, 2020, at his home.

Born June 22, 1947, in Yadkin County, he was a son of the late James Luke Taylor and the late Jesse Adams Taylor. Mr. Taylor was a US Marine Corps veteran and retired from Old Dominion Freight Lines.

He is survived by his wife, Debra Atkins Taylor of the home; sons,  James Chad Taylor and Bill Taylor both of Kernersville; brother, Jeffrey Taylor of Pennsylvania; and grandson, James Levi Taylor.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
