James Wade Mullis, 57, of Greensboro, passed away on June 10, 2020 at his home in Greensboro.
James was born in High Point, NC to Mary & Edward Mullis on November 5, 1962. He married Deborah Gail Hudson Mullis on May 7, 1982. They have spent a wonderful 38 years of marriage together. He worked as a Driver’s Education Instructor for many years and loved teaching kids how to drive. He was a member of City of Refuge Worship Center in Randleman, NC and loved doing ministry work with them. He loved visiting the beach and the mountains every time he had the opportunity but most of all he loved spending time with his family.
James is preceded in death by his mother Mary Ann Elizabeth Wilson, his father Edward James Mullis Sr., his two brothers Harold Mullis and Edward Mullis Jr.
James is survived by his wife Deborah Mullis, his sons James Brandon Mullis (Erika), Christopher Wade Mullis (Antonia), and Gregory Shawn Mullis (Samantha), his sisters Debra Taylor (Larry) and Annette Leonard (Ray), his brother Timothy Mullis (Jan), his grandchildren Kaitlyn and Sarah, he also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The family will be receiving visitors June 17, 2020 at 5pm, immediately followed by a Celebration of Life at 6pm at City of Refuge Worship Center located at 1028 Commonwealth Road, Randleman, NC 27317. Pastors Donna & Bill Chriscoe will be officiating.
Arrangements are by Guil-rand Funeral & Cremation Service.
