James Stanford Fayne, 72, of Archdale, passed away Tuesday, September 5, 2017, at Forsyth Medical Center.
Born September 17, 1944, in Radford, VA, he was a son of the late Curtis Fayne and the late Clora Burcham Fayne. Mr. Fayne was US Air Force veteran serving in Vietnam and was a retired truck driver with fifty-one years of service. He was a member of Cedar Lodge Baptist Church and he never met a stranger.
Mr. Fayne is survived by his wife of forty-seven years, Sandra Coleman Fayne of the home; children, Jay Fayne and wife Jacqueline of Sneads Ferry, Jeff Sipper and wife Jennifer of High Rock Lake, and Michelle Fayne of Asheboro; brother, Burlin Fayne and wife Harriet of CO; sister, Mozel Wonderly of Thomasville; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Neal Fayne.
Memorial services will be conducted at 3:00 PM Sunday, September 17, 2017, at Cedar Lodge Baptist Church with Rev. N.J. Rich officiating.
The family will receive friends following the service.
