James Herbert Eversole, Jr.,72, of Kernersville, passed away Saturday, April 8, 2017, at his home.

Born January 11, 1945, in Philadelphia, PA, he was a son of the late James Herbert Eversole, Sr., and the late Nona Faye Eversole. Mr. Eversole was a veteran of the Army National Guard and retired from US Airways.  He was a devoted husband and loving caregiver.

He is survived by his sons, Weston D. Eversole and wife Candace of Tobaccoville, and Jackson S. Eversole and wife Jill of Kernersville; brother, Mark Eversole and wife Pam of Clemmons; sister, Nancy Holland and husband Kenny of TN; three grandchildren, Walker, Charlie and Avery.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife of forty-three years, Martha Pendleton Eversole.

Graveside services will be conducted at 1:00 PM Saturday, April 15, 2017, in Evergreen Memorial Park, Roanoke, VA.
