James Julius Dollaeye

James Julius Dollaeye, 61, of Archdale, passed away on May 17, 2019 in his home located in Archdale, NC.

James was born in Painesville, OH to Ervin James Dallaeye and Athena Dollaeye on August 14, 1957.  He went to school at Trinity High School located in Trinity, NC.  He married Ann Thomas on June 30, 1987 in South Carolina.  He worked as a dye house manager for Slane Hosiery for most of his life. His passion and love was the Guil-Rand fire department where he served and volunteered for 28 years. James was loved by many and will truly by missed by all his family and friends.

James is preceded in death by mother Athena, father Ervin, and his son Bobby JR.

James is survived by his wife Ann, his son Chris, his daughter Cathy, his grandchildren Brittani, Josie, Cody, and Lilly, his great grandchildren Ryland, Kyler, Kenton, Lane, and Sophia.

The family will be receiving visitors on Tuesday May 21, 2019 from 12pm -1pm with a funeral service to follow from 1pm-2pm at Springfield Friends Meeting located 555 E Springfield Rd, High Point, NC 27263. Pastor Ray Luther will be officiating. Burial will follow at Randolph Cemetery located at 4538 US-220 BUS, Asheboro, NC 27203.

Pallbearers will be Darren Pierce, Gary Dodson, Chris Bennett, Olin Sports, Greg Weaver, and Brian Cox.
