James Russell Collier Sr.

James Russell Collier Sr., 94, of Greensboro, NC formerly of Shreveport, La., died Friday October 30, at Hospice Home at High Point.

Mr. Collier was born March 17, 1926 in Shreveport, La., the son of William Theodore and Ruby Eddins Collier. He was a Business Administrator at Broadmoor United Methodist Church

in Shreveport, La. and was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He was preceded in death by his wife Mary Koonce Collier in 2013.

Surviving are a son James Russell Collier Jr. and wife Debra of Greensboro, NC.; daughter, Sharon Collier and husband Steve Cochran of New Orleans, La.; 3 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held in Shreveport, La.
