James Lawrence Cole

James Lawrence Cole, 95, of Thomasville, passed away Friday, February 21, 2020, at Hospice Home at High Point.

Born January 11, 1925, in Haywood County, he was a son of the late Robert Cole and the late Alpha Patterson Cole. Mr. Cole was a retired upholster and inspector with Braxton-Culler. He was an avid golfer and fisherman.

He is survived by his daughter, Martha Rhyne of High Point; grandchildren, Traci Lynch, Bryan Jones, Whitney Lynch, and Zachary Lynch; and great-grandson, Davin Lynch; great granddaughter, Au-mour Lynch.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Sylvia Kelly.

Memorial services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Saturday, February 29, 2020, in the gathering room of Wright Funerals-Cremations with Rev. C.W. Moss officiating.

The family will receive friends following the service.

A celebration dinner will be served for the family following the visitation.
