James Dean Carden

James Dean Carden, 54, of High Point, went home to be with Jesus on Saturday, February 11, 2023, at his home.

James was born in Newport, VA on September 15, 1968, a son of Raeford Dennis Carden and the late Nancy Terry Carden Gravitte.  He was someone that would have done anything for anyone if he could.  He may have been bound to that wheelchair for a couple of years, but he always helped out anyone that came to him for help!  He was one of my heros, when you called, there was James.  He was a loving son, brother, father, uncle, grandpa, friend and significant other. If you knew him, you were blessed!  He would have tried to help you any way possible.

In addition to his mother, James was preceded in death by a brother, Ronald Carden; step-brother, Jan Clark, and step-Dad, Tony Gravitte.

He is survived by his father, Raeford Dennis Carden and step-mother, Julie Clark Carden of Creedmoor; sister Tonya Phillips of Graham; sister in law, Sherry Carden of High Point; daughter, Christa Taylor; nieces Kristen Phillips, Emily Carden and husband Matthew Winslow; nephews John Moretz and Joseph Carden; granddaughter, Raylee Taylor; great nieces, Khloe Biggs and Scarlett Winslow; great nephew, Jakob Winslow; and girlfriend, Kelly Cox and her daugther, Emily Callicutt; grandchildren, Iveigh Maie, Thomas Hill and Brantley Hill.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

Condolences may be expressed online at www.wrightfs.com.
