Jacqueline Dominy Baxley

Jacqueline “Jackie” Dominy Baxley, 92, of Thomasville, passed away peacefully with her son and daughter by her side on Saturday, June 20, 2026, at Piedmont Crossing Retirement Community.

She was born October 23, 1933, in Winnsboro, SC. She was preceded in death by her parents, Herbert Lee Dominy and Delma Edenfield Dominy. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Lonnie H. Baxley, Jr. six months earlier.

Jackie was a member of Southeast Baptist Church in Greensboro for 40 years and later Rich Fork Baptist Church in Thomasville. She was a retired church secretary, and spent many years working in her churches’ nurseries. She loved working jigsaw puzzles, coloring and playing games with fellow residents at Piedmont Crossing.

Left to cherish her memory, her son, Randall Baxley; Vickey Baxley; daughter, Vicki Camp (Phillip); and her grandchildren, Christopher Baxley, Jarod Baxley (McKayla), Travis Camp (Molly Stafford) and Jonathan Camp (Stephanie).
