Jacob Donald Goins, 83, of Thomasville, passed away Saturday, April 1, 2017, at Hospice Home at High Point.

Born April 28, 1933, in Davidson County he was a son of the late Andrew Luther Goins and the late Della Mae Johnson Goins. Mr. Goins was a retired finishing supervisor and attended Trinity Heights Wesleyan Church.

He is survived by his wife Martha Thomas Goins of the home; sons, Don Goins, Jr. and wife Linda, Gary Goins and wife Dawn all of Thomasville, and Van Goins and wife Beth of Danville; daughters, Vickie Kennedy and husband Phil, Sybil White and husband Larry, and Della Nance and husband Phil all of Thomasville; sister, Inez Gray of Thomasville; eighteen grandchildren; twenty-one great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his daughter, Sandra Coulter, two brothers; and three sisters.

Memorial services will be conducted at 6:00 PM Tuesday, April 4, 2017, at Trinity Heights Wesleyan Church with Rev. Crawford Crenshaw officiating.

The family will receive friends following the service.
