Jack Dillard Reece

Jack Reece of High Point passed away on Tuesday, October 20, 2020 at Westchester Manor.

Born on September 2, 1942, to the late Jesse and Edna Riggins Reece, Jack grew up in Pickens, SC and attended Mars Hill College where he played football.

He was married to Deborah Dancy Reece and was a longtime member of Emerywood Baptist Church.  He spent most of his career in marketing with the Alderman Company and Hickory Printing. His retirement years were focused on volunteering and his favorite hobby of planting flowers for the church garden.  An avid tennis and racquetball player, Jack was well-known at the YMCA usually wearing Carolina blue for his beloved Tar Heels.

He is survived by his daughter, Pam Reece and husband Eric Brown of NY, NY., brother, Richard Reece, Pickens, SC, sister, Anne Reece Pace, Brevard, NC, and preceded in death by brother, Gerald Reece, Pickens, SC.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of the Piedmont or Feeding America.
