Jack Lee Bryant, 79, of Trinity, passed away Tuesday, October 17, 2017, at his home.

Born August 31, 1938, in Davidson County, he was a son of the late Claude Bryant and the late Shula Gordon Bryant. Mr. Bryant was a retired carpenter with Willard Stewart in 2008. He was a pit crew member on several of the top-level NASCAR teams and shared his life experience on the local racing circuit.

He is survived by his children, Mitchell Bryant, Tammy Smith and husband Scott, Jennifer Gaddy, and Melissa Brewer and husband Ronnie all of Trinity; sister, Peggy Lawson and husband Bobby of FL; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his son, Tony Bryant; brother, Dennis Bryant; and grandson, Jack Dean Bryant.

Memorial services will be conducted at 1:00 PM Saturday, October 21, 2017, at Full Armor Christian Church with Rev. Randy Ingram officiating.

The family will receive friends following the service.
