Jack Banaszak

John “Jack” Dennis Banaszak, 79, of Greensboro, passed away Friday, June 7, 2024, at Hospice Home at High Point.

Born February 7, 1945, in Hammond, Indiana, he was a son of the late John Marion Banaszak and the late Irene Swiontek Banaszak. Jack graduated from Purdue University earning a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, and Governors State University earning a master’s degree in communications. He had a very full professional life with many career avenues. Jack retired from Edwards Jones as a financial advisor. He had a passion for his family and environmental causes.

Jack is survived by his wife of twenty-three years, Beverly Winfree Banaszak of the home; daughter, Amy Williams of Greensboro; son, Aaron Royston and wife Rebekah of River Bend, NC; brother, Tom Banaszak of Indiana; and nine grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Leonard Banaszak.

A celebration of life will be at a later date.
