J. Larry Collins, Sr

James Larry Collins, Sr., 81, of High Point, passed away October 7, 2025, at his home with his family by his side.

He was born January 7, 1944, in High Point, to the late Curtis Willaim Collins, Sr. and the late Ella Mae Mounts Collins.

In addition to his parents is his preceded in death by his brother, Curtis Collins, Jr., and his sister Patty Collins Leonard.

Larry was the owner and operator of Collins Painting Systems, Inc., and was dedicated to every client.

Those left to cherish his memory; his beloved wife, Linda Collins; son, James Collins, Jr.; brothers, Darrell Collins, Sr. and wife Kathy, and Tony Collins and wife Beth; sister-in-law, Sarah Shelton; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be 11:00 AM Friday, October 10, 2025, in the Wright Funerals-Cremations, High Point chapel with Daniel Gardner officiating.

Burial will follow in the Lebanon United Methodist Church cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 10-10:45AM Friday prior to the service prior to the service.
