Ira Davey Pelletier, 91, of Archdale, passed away Friday, August 6, 2021, at the VA Medical Center in Salisbury.

Born March 6, 1930, in Greene County, he was a son of the late Mark C. Pelletier and the late Cora Braxton Pelletier. Mr. Pelletier was a retired Chief Warrant Officer in the US Army serving in the Korean and Vietnam Conflict. Later, he was in sales for Massey Motors in Raleigh.

He is survived by his wife, Alma Frankie Parrish Pelletier of Winston-Salem;  daughters, Elizabeth P. Clark of Greenville, and Muriel P. Campbell of Archdale; stepsons, C.E. Hardin and wife Myrt of Sophia, Robert Hardin and wife Cindy of Wallburg, and Randy Hardin and wife Amanda of Thomasville; sister, Valarie Burmahl and husband Paul of Durham; twelve grandchildren; and twenty great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his, stepson, Donald Hardin, Sr., brothers, Charles Pelletier, and Mark Pelletier; sisters, Louise Huskey, and Gwyn Wade.

Graveside services will be conducted at 1:00 PM Thursday, August 12, 2021, in Cape Fear Memorial Park with military honors.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Disable Veterans, 251 North Main St. Room 151, Winston-Salem, NC 27101, or the charity of your choice.
