Hubert Earnest Keene, Sr., 67, of Archdale, passed away Thursday, March 14, 2019, at his home.

Born August 3, 1951, in Jolo, West Virginia, he was a son of the late James Keene and the late Marie Riffe Keene. Mr. Keene was a retired coal miner.

He is survived by his wife Darlene Whited Keene of the home; son, Hubert “Tim” Keene, Jr., and wife Katie of Thomasville; daughter, Antania Keene of the home; grandchildren, Logan, Mikayla, Hayden, Adriana, and Jacob.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Harmon Hagy, and James Keene; sister, Dolores Stilwell.

Memorial services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Saturday, March 23, 2019, at the Thrive Church, 3793 Samet Dr., High Point, NC 27265.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Thrive Church and words of encouragement for Darlene.
