Hoyt Aaron Reddish, 89, of Calabash, formerly of High Point, passed away Thursday, June 14, 2018, at New Hanover Medical Center, in Wilmington.
Born June 12, 1929, in Hall County, GA, he was a son of the late Lee Roy Reddish and the late Cora Idell Priest Reddish Colbert. Mr. Reddish was a retired truck driver with over twenty years of service, and was a US Marine veteran serving in Guam and China
He is survived by his daughters, Rhonda Morton and husband Travis of Trinity, Connie Barnett and husband Mike of High Point, and Brenda Tucker and husband Lloyd of Calabash, grandchildren, Tammy Elvington, Penny Lee, Jeremy Tucker, Christopher Charette, Dreama Kemp, Joshua Tucker, and Brad Barnett; and several great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn Hobbs Reddish; daughter, Linda Culler; and grandson, Michael Barnett.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Monday, June 18, 2018, in the Mausoleum Chapel at Floral Garden Park.
The family will receive friends from 12:30 PM until 1:15 PM prior to the service at Wright Cremation & Funeral Service.
