Howard Preston Holland, 60, of Winston-Salem, passed away Saturday, January 19, 2019, at his home.

Born October 3, 1958, in Davidson County, he was a son of the late Donald Rhyne Holland and the late Betty Wright Holland. Mr. Holland was a market manager with Food Lion for over forty years. He enjoyed watching NASCAR, tinkering with small engines, fishing and hunting.

He is survived by his longtime friend, Beverly Ziglar of High Point; son, Al Preston Holland and wife Donna of High Point; brothers, Al Holland and wife Sherry of High Point, and Paul Holland and wife Amelia of Winston-Salem; life long friend, Dale Myers; four grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Donna Anne Stavish.
