Howard Milton Harris

Howard Milton Harris, 86, of High Point, passed away Monday, December 12, 2022, at his home.

Born June 13, 1936, in Whiteville, NC, he was a son of the late Chess Harris and the late Gertrude Hester Harris. Mr. Harris retired from Thomas Built Buses with twenty-seven years of service.

He is survived by his daughters, Cynthia Cox and husband James, Vicki Everhart and husband Rocky, Mary Ann Long and husband Dale, and Paula Tune and husband David; brothers, Steve Landreth, Robert Landreth, Danny Ray Landreth, and Ronnie Landreth; sister, Mary Sue Hair; six grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Marilyn Ganus Harris in 2021.

Private graveside services will be conducted at Oakwood Cemetery.
