Hilda Pitts

Hilda Irene Kearns Pitts, 69, of Archdale, passed away Friday, September 19, 2025, at her home.

Born December 3, 1955, in Richmond, Virginia, she was the daughter of the late William Lamar Kearns and the late Lottie Yates. She was a customer service manager in the furniture industry for thirty-five years.

Hilda is survived by her sons, Chris Keen and wife LeeAnn of Mocksville, and Rodney Pitts and wife Ashley of High Point; sister, Pat Scoggins and husband Eric of Weddington; granddaughter, Baylee Keen; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Donald Ray Pitts in 2023, and brother, Joseph Kearns.

Memorial services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Sunday, September 28, 2025, in the High Point Chapel of Wright Funerals-Cremations with Rev. Eric Peacock officiating.

The family will receive friends following the service.
