Herbert "Wayne" Thornsbury

Herbert “Wayne” Thornsbury, 57, of Trinity, NC, passed away on January 4, 2021 at his residence.

Wayne was born in Wyoming, WV to Shirley England Thornsbury and Herbert M. Thornsbury on July 15, 1963.  He went to school at Southern Guilford High School.  He was a long-time member of Cloverdale Baptist Church. He truly loved the Lord and enjoyed reading the bible. He was a very artistic person and loved to draw. He also loved music and playing the guitar. He was a huge Greenbay Packers, West Virgina Mountaineers, and Carolina Tarheels fan. Most of all he loved spending time with his family especially his granddaughter Emerie.

Wayne is preceded in death by his mother Shirley England Thornsbury, his father Herbert M. Thornsbury and his sister Lisa Casarez.

Wayne is survived by his daughter Jessica Wyrick and husband William, his son Michael Miller, his significant other Gail McMahan, his sister Christine Thornsbury, his grandchildren Emerie Wyrick and Kristofer "Derek" Miller, he also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A visitation will be held at 1pm January 16, 2021, followed by the funeral service at 2pm at Archdale Assembly of God located at 4405 Archdale Road, Archdale, NC 27263. Burial will follow at Guil-Rand Memorial Park Cemetery located at 1550 Hwy 62 West, High Point, NC 27263. Pastor Kenny Brown is officiating.
