Helen Alene Poole, 84, of Greensboro, passed away Friday, October 5, 2018, at Wake Forest Baptist Hospital.

Born April 22, 1934, in Guilford County, she was a daughter of the late Floyd J. Poole and the late Mamie Irene Poole.

Helen is survived by her son, James Richard Caldwell (Sherrie) of Greensboro; grandson, Zachary Tyler Caldwell (Lauren) of Low Gap; sisters, Nancy Andrews, Doris Ward, and Susan Evers; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Jerry Poole, and James (Jimmy) Poole.

Private family services will at a later date.
